Epik High’s Tablo will turn into a producer in his new project.

Epik High’s label, Hours, shared on the 31st that Tablo recently signed a contract with Amazon Studios to produce an American series, Neon Machine.

Deadline also reported, “It may be erroneous to call the melding of rapper Tablo, Scooter Braun’s SB Projects, Emmy nominee Jason Kim and Amazon a K-pop supergroup.”

Neon Machine, the comedy series created by Barry producer and writer Kim, was inspired by Tablo’s life as a musician. It “tells the tale of an out-of-left-field K-pop superstar who hits a global chord but might lose it all in the process.” Tablo is said to have worked with Barry producer Kim for two years for this upcoming project.

You may assume that Tablo will be standing in front of the camera, but no one has been cast for the lead or any other role yet.

Meanwhile, Epik High debuted at No. 8 on Spotify’s US Chart and No. 10 on the global chart with their latest smash Epik High Is Here CD 1. Also, the album made it on the billboards in Times Square, New York (courtesy to Spotify). Last but not least, Epik High is the only Korean musician invited to the Coachella Festival for the second time.
