Ong Seong Woo Plays the Lead Role in the K-drama ‘How About a Cup of Coffee?’

Ong Song Wu from Wanna One is returning with a new drama, ‘How About a Cup of Coffee?’

On the 13th, an entertainment official reported to Sports Chosun. The official shared, “Ong Seong Woo will be joining the Kakao TV’s new series How about a Cup of Coffee? (written by Kim Joon Hyung and directed by Roh Jung Wook) as the main character.” The show is based on the cartoon of the same name By Heo Young Man, a work that celebrates the 40th anniversary of his debut.

It depicts a story of a rookie barista Kang Go Bi(Ong Seong Woo), who jumped into the industry only with passion. Under the coffee master Park Seok’s tutelage, he begins to learn about coffee and people.

Ong Seong Woo is a member of Wanna One, formed by Produce 101 Season 2. He also played the main character in At eighteen and More Than Friends, firmly establishing his career as an actor.

Meanwhile, the filming will begin in June, and it will premiere in the second half of this year on Kakao TV.
