Sechs Kies and You Hee Yeol’s new song “Don’t Look Back” topped major major music charts in Korea.
As soon as the song was released on Feb 5 at 6 pm KST, “Don’t Look Back” immediately landed atop on real-time music charts, including Bugs, Genie and Vibe.
To celebrate the release of their new song, Sechs Kies held a live broadcast with producer Na Young Seok. During the show, leader Eun Jiwon thanked the fans, “I was half in doubt, feeling both glad and nervous as we shoot the show, but with all the support and encouragement you have sent us, I was a bit relieved.”
You Hee Yeol also joined the show via phone call and expressed his excitement, saying, “I think the song is located somewhere between You Hee Yeol and Sechs Kies. So I guess it’s Yous Kies.”
At the end of the live show ended, the music video directed by Reply series director Shin Won Ho was unveiled for the first time, receiving enthusiastic reactions from viewers. Fans wrote comments like, “This is a high-quality mv. just legendary,” “The song feels more emotional with the mv. Great job guys,” and “I had no how amazing the members were in acting.”
Sechs Kies also announced their future promotions – music show You Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook and radio Kim Eana’s Starry Night. The group added, “We will work hard and show you a better performance to repay all the support we received.”
