tvN’s new entertainment program is on its way, and it’s already the biggest topic.
The new tvN show Unexpected Business, starring Cha Tae Hyun and Jo In Sung, will begin as two city men taking over a supermarket in the countryside all of a sudden. It is the new project by the Hometown Flex production crew and has already made headlines when Cha Tae Hyun and Jo In Sung confirmed their appearances.
For the show, the two city men who have only experience urban life will become the owners of a supermarket located in a rural area, beginning their noncity life in earnest. The two plan to run a real supermarket in a rural village where people live a relaxed yet diligent lives and permeate the neighborhood with their charms. Not only will the beautiful scenery of the countryside catch people’s eye, but the two men’s struggle in running a supermarket that is a market to some and a hardware store to some.
The teaser video released today features the first meeting of the two actors and producer Yoo Ho Jin. Cha Tae Hyun is the first to open his mouth as he says, “There is this close friend of mine who will be just great in entertainment shows. Oh, there he comes.” With the That Winter, The Wind Blows OST in the background, Jo In Sung walks in, showing off his dazzling visuals.
Producer Yoo shared, “We plan to introduce the process of urban men who are accustomed to urban life starting their ‘unexpected business,’ adjusting to the countryside, and running their the store that existed in the village for a long time. We have followed the quarantine guidelines throughout the filming. Please pay attention and show love in how Cha Tae Hyun and Jo In Sung are reborn as owners of the supermarket.”
Unexpected Business will air in the first half of this year.
