JYP (Park Jin Young) and Psy will partner up for SBS’s new audition show LOUD.

SBS officially announced the production of the mega-scale project LOUD. For the show, JYP Entertainment’s head JYP and P NATION’s head Psy joined hands to launch new types of boy bands.

LOUD is a new audition program with a goal to create two next-generation boy groups that represent each company. Attention and expectations are focused on the synergy created by JYP, P NATION and K-pop Star production team.

Unlike the existing idol audition programs, which focus on trainees, LOUD is open to all teenage boys from all over the world who dream of becoming K-pop stars. The show also aims to discover participants with artistic talents in various fields, including writing, composing, musical instruments, arrangement, art, as well as dancing and singing.

JYP Entertainment, led by JYP, has become Korea’s leading agency, producing numerous stars like 2PM, GOT7, DAY6, TWICE, Stray Kids, and ITZY. JYP himself is one of the industry’s best producers and an excellent dance singer.

Psy is the head of P NATION, home to numerous stars such as Jessi, HyunA, Dawn, Crush and Heize. Also, Psy himself is an artist who opened the era of K-pop around the world with his global hit song “Gangnam Style.” At the time of the release, the song blasted into seventh week at No.2 on Billboard Hot 100 and surpassed 3.8 billion views on YouTube.

LOUD will begin recruiting applicants in earnest on November 2, and if selected as the final debut member, they will debut in the second half of 2021 with full support from JYP and P NATION.
