TREASURE is expected to appear at the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards (2020 MAMA).
On October 30, an official from Mnet said, “We are positively reviewing TREASURE’s appearance on the 2020 MAMA.”
TREASURE was recently nominated for the Best New Male Artist category in the “2020 MAMA Nomination” released by Mnet.
If the group confirms their appearance, it would be the first time in five years for a YG artist to perform on the MAMA stage. Big Bang and iKON were the last YG artists to perform on MAMA back in 2015.
The 2020 MAMA will be held on December 6.
Meanwhile, TREASURE will hold a countdown live on November 6 at 4:30 p.m. KST. The event will be streamed for about 80 minutes on V LIVE and will end 10 minutes before the release of their third single THE FIRST STEP: CHAPTER THREE.
