Collectors, directed by Park Jung Bae, will be released on November 4.
Today, CJ Entertainment confirmed the release of Collectors on November 4 and dropped the main trailer.
Collectors is a crime-comedy movie in which genius thief Kang Dong Goo (Lee Je Hoon) joins hands with experts from all over the country to dig up hidden treasures. It is expected to provide extraordinary fun by utilizing the topic of “tomb robbery” that has not been seen in Korean cinema.
The main trailer starts as Kang Dong Goo disguises himself in order to steal the statue of the Buddha. Then Curator Yoon (Shin Hye Sun), an elite curator who recognized Kang Dong Goo’s skills, Dr. Jones (Jo Woo Jin), an ancient tomb mural expert who has maps of ancient tombs around the world in his head, and Sabdari (Im Won Hee), a legendary shovel master, appear one after another, heralding a colorful chemistry. Soon, their “exciting game” to dig into the Seolleung Royal Tombs, which is located in the heart of Gangnam, raises expectations.
In addition, the two main posters are filled with the unique charm of Collectors. The pleasant appearances of four very distinctive characters holding the items that represent them draw keen attention.
