(G) I-DLE’s Miyeon and SF9’s Hwiyoung will star in web drama Replay (literal translation).
According to a media outlet, (G) I-DLE’s Miyeon and SF9’s Hwiyoung were cast in the web drama Replay produced by HEARTPEOPLE.
This is Miyeon’s first acting since her debut as (G)I-DLE in May 2018. Hwiyoung, on the other hand, started his acting career in earnest by starring in web music drama Dok Go Bin Is Updating and The Mermaid Prince: The Beginning. In Dok Go Bin Is Updating, Hwiyoung played Dok Go Bin, an AI robot with a heart of gold, and Yoon Gun, a guy who looks cold on the outside but is actually a romantic at heart, in The Mermaid Prince: The Beginning, receiving favorable reviews for his solid performances.
As the two idols are well-known for their visuals, expectations for their perfect “visual chemistry” are already rising rapidly.
