In celebration of the upcoming 12th anniversary, singer IU will be holding a mini-concert on KBS 2TV’s Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook.

According to StarNews, IU participated in recording the episode from 9 AM to 11 PM at the KBS New Wing Hall.

As this episode is an IU special, the stage was set up specifically for IU and no other artist.

Starting from 9 AM, IU performed her songs more than 60 times in the 14-hour recording session. IU is shared to have prepared around 13 songs. She put her heart and soul into the recordings, as she went through tech rehearsals, dry rehearsals, camera rehearsals, and live recordings for each song.

At 11 PM, IU finished recording her “Good Day” performance. It is shared that some staff members were lost for words and teared up during the recording session.

IU performed songs like “BBIBBI,” “Blueing,” and “Eight.”

IU’s special episode on Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook will be broadcast on the same day as her 12th anniversary, September 18th.
