SHINee’s Taemin, who will make his solo comeback on September 7, raised expectations for his new album with his sensual teasers.
At midnight on August 30 KST, SM Entertainment dropped several teaser images for his new album highlighting Taemin’s dark and mysterious charm and a mood sampler video reminiscent of thriller movies.
Among all these newly-released content, the teaser photo that shows Taemin holding a sculpture as if he is about to kiss it has drawn keen attention from fans.
Taemin’s third full-length album Never Gonna Dance Again: Act 1 will be released on various music sites at 6:00 p.m. on September 7 KST.
In particular, the title song “Criminal” is a Synthwave genre that combines a tense rhythm with a newtro sound. The song combines the lyrics that unravels the opponent’s deadly charm under the theme of “Stockholm syndrome” with Taemin’s sensual vocals, creating one intense music.
