On July 13th, Mnet revealed that a survival audition show for teenagers called CAP-TEEN will air in October. Through CAP-TEEN, teenagers will have the chance to pursue their dreams of becoming K-pop stars. The show aims to become a gateway for teenagers to become stars.

If High School Rapper focused on creating stars out of teenage rappers, then CAP-TEEN will focus on teenagers who show talents in various areas like singing, dancing, and rapping. These teenagers, who have a passion for music and endless potential, will present refreshing performances as they stand on the big stage for the first time in their lives.

It does not matter if the contestants are appearing as soloists or as groups. The winner of CAP-TEEN will have the special opportunity to release a debut song produced by a star producer and choreographed by Korea’s best dance team.

Mnet will be selecting contestants until August 28th. Teens who wish to become K-pop stars can apply through the show’s official website. CAP-TEEN is set to broadcast in October.
