The coronavirus outbreak has not only affected the health and lives of many, but have also struck many people and businesses financially. Because of all the financial struggles that many have been facing, Lee Hyori has decided to waive the rent on her building for this month for her tenants.
Xportsnews reported on March 11th that a tenant in the singer’s building in the Hannam neighborhood of Seoul said, “Last month, Lee Hyori told us that she won’t be taking rent for the month of March. The economy is very poor lately because of COVID-19 and it’s a difficult time for many reasons, so I’m very grateful that Lee Hyori has waived our whole rent for a month”.
The singer’s building, which she bought last October, includes business such as a traditional Korean restaurant and seafood restaurant, as well as various different offices.
