Yoo Ah In Is Having Talks With ‘Train to Busan’ Director To Appear In His New Piece ‘Hell’

Yoo Ah In is reportedly being a strong candidate for a lead role in the upcoming film Hell (literally translated into English), but its agency denied the assumption.

According to OSEN, one of the Korean prominent news websites for entertainment and sport, an official of Yoo Ah In’s agency UAA (United Artists Agency) said that the actor recently received a scenario of Hell, a new movie directed by Yeon Sang Ho (his previous hit was a zombie thriller Train to Busan). “Yoo Ah In is currently considering whether he’ll appear in the film after getting such an offer from the director. He hasn’t been completely cast in Hell,” said the official.

Hell is a story about the characters who are struggling with the harsh reality like hell, against the backdrop of supernatural phenomena. It’s based on the same-titled webtoon that has been serially written by Yeon Sang Ho and drawn by cartoonist Choi Kyu Seok on NAVER Webtoon since August 25, 2019.

Meanwhile, Yoo Ah In has already starred in the crime drama Without a Sound (also known as Voice of Silence) and the contagion thriller #ALONE. These two films are both set to be released this year. We highly expect him to be cast in Hell as well!
