Jazz for Two has revealed its casting lineup. The drama, which is scheduled to be released in March, tells the story of five high school students who are struggling with their own personal problems and pressures, and who find love and growth through music and each other.
The drama stars Jee Ho Geun, Newkidd’s Jinkwon, OMEGA X’s Hangyeom, and Kim Jeong Ha. It is based on the popular webtoon of the same name by author Clarju, which was the number one BL webtoon on Lezhin Comics in 2017.
Jee Ho Geun plays Han Tae Yi, a musical prodigy with a captivating voice. This is his first major acting role, where he’ll portray the cold and expressionless Tae Yi.
Jinkwon plays Yoon Se Hun, a transfer student at the prestigious Uyeon High School brimming with passion for jazz music. Se Hun carries the weight of unspoken conflicts with his father and brother. Known for his roles in HBO Max’s Além do Guarda-Roupa and TVING’s To My Star, Jinkwon will showcase Se- Hun’s journey of overcoming these complexities through music and the emotional shifts he experiences upon meeting Tae Yi.
Hangyeom plays Seo Do Yoon, a talented drummer with a secret hidden beneath his bright smile. This marks Hangyeom’s acting debut, where he’ll bring to life the intriguing character of Do Yoon.
Kim Jeong Ha plays Song Ju Ha, a skilled guitarist renowned for his charming looks. Kim Jeong Ha has appeared in various web dramas and SBS drama The Escape of the Seven. He’ll add a touch of sweetness to the drama with his fresh chemistry alongside Do Yoon.
The drama also features many talented rookie actors, including Seong Tae, Kim Min Ha, and Go Jae Hyeon.
Jazz for Two is scheduled to be released in March.
