Taeyeon recently drew attention for posting a screengrab of the Netflix series The Glory on her Instagram story.
This particular photo she shared is a scene where Park Yeon Jin, played by Lim Ji Yeon, hands the resignation letter she just scribbled to her boss. However, Taeyeon crossed out the name Park Yeon Jin and wrote Kim Tae Yeon in her own handwriting.
Back in the 11th, Taeyeon also shared a photo of her copying Park Yeon Jin’s face, leading to differing opinions on whether her posts are simply a parody or her way of expressing her desire to move to another label.
This isn’t the first time Taeyeon shared a meaningful post via her Instagram. Last month, Taeyeon became a hot topic when she shared a scene in the movie The Unjust where Ryu Seung Bum says, “Man, you guys sure do live diligently,” soon after the dispute between SM and HYBE hit the wire.
Meanwhile, K-pop powerhouse HYBE has announced that it has reached an agreement with tech giant Kakao to end their takeover battle for SM Entertainment. Under the new arrangement, HYBE will maintain its management control while collaborating with Kakao on platforms.
