It seems like Park Seo Joon’s appearance in The Marvels has been made official.

On IMDb’s page for The Marvels, Park Seo Joon‘s name is listed in the top cast category. IMDb is the world’s largest and most trusted movie platform.

Previously, Awesome ENT responded, “no comment” to the report about Park Seo Joon’s possible role in The Marvels. However, it seems like Park’s appearance is only an open secret. Today, the actor has wowed everyone by putting his name next to Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, Zawe Ashton, and Iman Vellani.

SCREENRANT predicted that Park would play Korean-American teenage hero Amadeus Cho.

“Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), and Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) may not be the only Marvels in Captain Marvel 2,” they wrote. “Officially titled The Marvels, the movie centers on three female superheroes who have ‘Marvel’ in their comic book codenames, but they could be joined by a fourth Marvel-related hero played by Park Seo Joon.”

They added, “It was recently reported that Park Seo Joon, a popular star of South Korean dramas, has been cast in an undisclosed role. Many are suspecting that he’s playing the Korean-American teenage hero Amadeus Cho. While it is likely that a star of Seo Joon’s caliber will be portraying a major hero or villain, it doesn’t necessarily have to be Cho.”

In Marvel comic books, Amadeus Cho is portrayed as Hulk’s sidekick. He’s a narcissist with an outstanding brain, enough to subdue the Marvel heroes. His mother is Dr. Helen Cho, played by Claudia Kim (aka Kim Soo Hyun) in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
