BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is set to make a guest appearance on tvN’s The Village Barber 2.
According to MyDaily on September 10th, Jisoo has already completed filming for the variety show in Tongyeong, South Gyeongsang Province.
The Village Barber follows Park Bo Gum, who previously served as a military barber and holds a national barbering license, as he runs a small hair salon in a remote countryside village. He is joined by close friends Lee Sang Yi and Ko Kyung Pyo.
Jisoo reportedly joined the cast despite not having any particular prior connection with any of the three actors.
The first season premiered in January and recorded a peak viewership rating of 3.7%. Guests including Park Hae Joon, Choi Dae Hoon, Rain, Yoon Nam No and Kim So Hyun made surprise appearances to lend a hand at the salon.
Kwak Dong Yeon, who was part of the original lineup, is unable to return due to his military service, with Ko Kyung Pyo stepping in for Season 2.
