Disney Plus’ Between Steps has unveiled a new campus poster and first teaser, offering a glimpse at the warm but complicated romance between Choo Young Woo and Kim So Hyun.
The series follows Min Jae (Choo), a doctoral student and former high school swimmer who lost one leg due to illness, and Yoo Jin (Kim), a master’s student who finds a new path after struggling with her career direction. The two meet in a robotics lab and gradually develop feelings for each other.
The newly released poster shows Min Jae and Yoo Jin sitting side by side on a bench with soft smiles, alongside the tagline, “A spicy, bitter and sweet romance between two people clumsy at love.”
The first teaser opens with Min Jae confessing, “I like you,” before showing a series of quieter romantic moments between the two.
When asked, “Was it love at first sight, like fate?” Yoo Jin replies, “I like you,” hinting at how their feelings have grown.
The teaser then follows the pair as they exchange glances and grow closer in everyday settings including a bus, cafe and robotics lab.
Toward the end, Yoo Jin tells Min Jae, “Try swallowing it once,” before kissing him, showing her more straightforward approach to romance and setting up the contrast with the more reserved Min Jae.
Between Steps premieres on Disney Plus on October 5th, with new episodes released every Monday and Tuesday.
