Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung are sending fans into a frenzy with a new photo that has them looking just as radiant as they did 10 years ago.
Elle Korea released a striking teaser image of the two actors gazing at each other on August 26th. The cover features a creative design that removes one letter from “Elle” to create a poetic effect.
The accompanying caption reads, “You are Ra On, who fills my world.” The line is a reference to a confession made by Park Bo Gum’s character, Crown Prince Lee Yeong, to Ra On, played by Kim Yoo Jung, in the 2016 KBS2 drama Love in the Moonlight.
The new photos have a nostalgic, almost “wedding anniversary” feel, imagining what the beloved characters might look like if they had continued their relationship for another decade. Park Bo Gum has since completed his mandatory military service, while Kim Yoo Jung has grown from a child star into a mature actress. Despite the years that have passed, fans were quick to point out that their chemistry remains unchanged.
Fans reacted enthusiastically, with comments such as, “I guess I have to rewatch Love in the Moonlight again,” “Why can’t you just say, ‘This person is mine?’” and “Now that they’ve both grown up, let’s see them in another project together.”
Meanwhile, Love in the Moonlight will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a special variety program titled Love in the Moonlight Again. The drama’s five main cast members have also remained close over the years. Park Bo Gum recently made a surprise appearance on KBS2’s music variety show The Seasons: Cantabile of Park Bo Gum, where their long-lasting friendship delighted both the cast and viewers.
