Yoon Eun Hye is responding to criticism over what she wore to close friend Arden Cho‘s wedding.
On August 26th, the actress shared a screenshot on Instagram Stories of a post compiling online reactions to her wedding guest look and clarified that the event had specific attire requirements.
“There was a set dress code for all three days, everyone,” Yoon wrote.
The response came after Yoon posted photos from Cho’s wedding wearing a black slip dress. Some online commenters criticized the form-fitting look as too revealing for a close friend’s wedding, sparking debate over whether the outfit was appropriate for the occasion.
Yoon’s post appeared to address those comments directly by noting that guests had been asked to follow a predetermined dress code throughout the three-day celebration.
Cho, a Korean American actress who voices lead character Rumi in Netflix’s animated film KPop Demon Hunters, married orthopedic surgeon Christopher Lee in Florence, Italy, on June 27th.
Yoon was among the guests in attendance at the ceremony.
