South Korean national football team star Lee Kang In has signed a management contract with entertainment company THE BLACK LABEL, marking a new step in his career beyond the football field.
THE BLACK LABEL officially announced on August 14th, “We have signed a management contract with South Korean national football player Lee Kang In.”
The agency praised Lee Kang In for his achievements on the global stage, saying, “He has proven his presence as a player worldwide and is recognized for his strong potential thanks to his exceptional skills and dedicated attitude.”
The company added, “As a reliable partner who will support Lee Kang-in in his new challenges and future endeavors, we will provide our full support for his activities.”
With Lee Kang In joining its roster, THE BLACK LABEL is expanding its management business across a wider range of fields. The agency currently represents actors including Park Bo Gum, Yim Si Wan, Kwak Dong Yeon and Lee Jong Won, as well as artists such as BIGBANG’s Taeyang, BLACKPINK’s Rosé, Jeon Somi and dancer LEE JUNG.
Lee Kang In has gained global recognition not only for his football career but also through fashion, advertising campaigns, and various media appearances. With his partnership with THE BLACK LABEL, attention is now focused on the new opportunities he may pursue outside of football.
The signing comes as Lee Kang In begins a new chapter in his professional career. He recently transferred from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to Atlético Madrid in Spain’s La Liga. The deal reportedly runs through 2031, with a transfer fee estimated at around €40 million ($46 million), including a base fee of €35 million and additional bonuses.
As Lee continues to establish himself in European football, his new partnership with The Black Label is expected to expand his presence beyond the sport and into entertainment, fashion and other global activities.
