Former April member Lee Naeun made her long-awaited TV return in Flex X Cop.

Lee Naeun, who recently faced dating rumors with footballer Lee Kang In, made her long-awaited TV return in episode 6 of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama Flex X Cop. This marks her first drama appearance in three years since the controversy surrounding bullying allegations within April.

In the episode, Lee Naeun portrays Han Yoo Ra, who briefly encounters Ahn Bo-hyun’s character Jin Yi Soo. She greets him politely, saying, “Hello, I’ve heard a lot about you. Should I call you CEO Jin Yi-soo?” before asking to use the restroom. Her appearance is brief, lasting only about a minute.

Lee Naeun debuted in 2015 as a member of the girl group April. She gained popularity through her role in A-TEEN and Extraordinary You (2019). In March 2021, April was embroiled in a bullying controversy, leading Lee Naeun to step down from the SBS TV drama Taxi Driver season 1. April disbanded the following year in November.

Last month, dating rumors linked Lee Naeun to Paris Saint-Germain’s Lee Kang In. The Fact reported that the two were spotted enjoying a date in the underground parking lot of a Yeouido hotel in November last year. At the time, Lee Kang In was preparing for the 2026 North, Central America and Caribbean World Cup Asian Qualifiers against Singapore, and the hotel was where the national team was staying. He recorded 1 goal and 1 assist, leading the team to a 5-0 victory.

The day after the game, Lee Naeun was seen at her apartment in Gyeonggi Province. However, reports of a breakup emerged three days later. Lee Naeun’s agency, Namoo Actors, maintained that they were “just friends” in response to the reports.
