YoonA and Suzy recently turned heads at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards by showcasing identical dresses styled with completely distinct charms.
The prestigious ceremony took place on the evening of the 8th at COEX in Seoul. Veteran host Shin Dong Yup returned to the stage alongside Suzy and Park Bo Gum, marking the trio’s eighth year as the ceremony’s official MCs. While the main event was the talk of the town, the red carpet stole the spotlight early on.
In a rare coincidence, both YoonA and Suzy arrived wearing the same strapless mermaid-style gown. It is exceptionally rare for two top-tier stars to wear the same dress at the same event, but the two actresses managed to make the moment a highlight.
Suzy walked the carpet as an MC in a baby pink version of the dress. The soft hue perfectly complemented her classic image.
In contrast, YoonA, nominated for Best Actress for her role in the tvN hit Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, chose a timeless black gown. Her look highlighted elegance and a chic, composed vibe.
The dresses were from the luxury fashion brand Alex Perry. By choosing contrasting black and pink, the stars created entirely different moods, quickly removing any sense of a shared outfit.
Beyond her fashion win, YoonA also took home the Popularity Award, a fan-voted honor that further cemented her status as a reigning global star.
