
AKMU, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, BTS, and NCT WISH showcased their strong chart performance by topping multiple rankings on the April 2026 Circle Chart.
The Korea Music Content Association announced, “AKMU achieved six crowns, TOMORROW X TOGETHER secured two crowns, BTS topped the Global K-pop Chart, and NCT WISH claimed first place on the Retail Album Chart in the April monthly Circle Chart.”
AKMU earned the “six crown” title with their fourth full-length album Flowering. The title track “Joy, Sorrow, A Beautiful Heart” topped the Digital Chart (Circle Index: 67,567,986), BGM, V Coloring, Ringtone, and Call Ringtone charts. Their pre-release song “Paradise of Rumors” also ranked No. 1 on the Streaming Chart.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER ranked first on the Album Chart with 7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns (1,668,464 copies sold) and topped the Download Chart with the album’s title track “Stick With You,” earning a total of two crowns. Combined sales of the CD, Weverse and SMC versions listed under the album title within the Album Chart Top 100 reached 1,934,435 copies.
BTS reclaimed the No. 1 spot on the Global K-pop Chart for the first time in nine months with “SWIM,” the title track from their fifth full-length album ARIRANG. The group also topped the Social Chart 3.0 for the second consecutive month, giving them two crowns overall.
NCT WISH topped the Retail Album Chart with their first full-length album Ode to Love – The 1st Album, which highlights the group’s distinct musical identity, recording 306,527 retail sales. Combined CD and SMC sales of the album within the Retail Album Chart Top 50 totaled 447,400 copies.
On the Social Chart 3.0, which directly reflects K-pop’s global popularity, NCT WISH recorded the biggest ranking increase in March.
For Circle Chart’s Week 18 of 2026, from April 26th to May 2nd, AKMU once again achieved six crowns, with “Paradise of Rumors” topping the Digital, Streaming, V Coloring, Ringtone and Call Ringtone charts, while “Joy, Sorrow, A Beautiful Heart” ranked first on the BGM chart.
BTS’s “SWIM” topped the Global K-pop Chart, while TWS ranked first on the Album Chart with 5th Mini Album NO TRAGEDY, and NEXZ claimed the top spot on the Retail Album Chart with Mmchk.
Meanwhile, the latest Circle Chart album certifications include a 4 million certification for BTS’s ARIRANG, while P1Harmony’s UNIQUE and BTS’s ARIRANG (Weverse) both received Platinum certifications.
Streaming certifications were awarded to DK, HUNTR/X, EJAE, Audrey Nuna, Rei Ami, and the KPop Demon Hunters cast for “Golden.”
