BIGBANG members G-Dragon and Taeyang are drawing attention for ‘liking’ a post about T.O.P’s solo comeback. T.O.P left BIGBANG three years ago.
A post on an online community noted that both G-Dragon and Taeyang had liked posts related to T.O.P’s upcoming album on March 24th. While G-Dragon often likes posts online, Taeyang is known to rarely do so, which made his action stand out.
Fans responded excitedly, leaving comments like, “I want to see them together again,” “It’s meaningful that even Taeyang liked this” and “Maybe they’ll appear together at Coachella in April.”
T.O.P will release his first full-length solo album, ANOTHER DIMENSION, on April 3rd. This will be his first solo album since the 2013 digital single DOOM DADA. T.O.P oversaw the entire production of the album, while Ilko, who has worked with artists like Kanye West and The Weeknd, handled sound design and mixing.
The album’s design and music video art direction include contributions from legendary American artist Ed Ruscha and Chae Kyung Sun, art director of Squid Game 2, in which T.O.P recently appeared.
T.O.P debuted with BIGBANG in 2006 and left the group in 2023. After some time away from music, he returned to acting in Squid Game 2 in 2024, playing the character ‘Thanos’ to much attention.
