During a recent appearance, Somi was seen eating cup noodles with chopsticks on giant screens just before heading onstage. Some fans of BLACKPINK’s Rosé quickly claimed the moment was a direct copy of the singer’s signature “foodie entrances” from the Blackpink: Deadline World Tour.
Critics pointed to similarities in casual dance moves and overall vibe, with one viral post labeling Somi “shameless,” which received nearly 1300 likes.

Not everyone agreed, however. Many defended Somi, calling the accusations overblown and arguing that fans were unfairly policing what she can or cannot do. Supporters also noted that the two artists are friends, former YG trainees, and labelmates under THE BLACK LABEL.
On the other hand, Rosé’s fans pointed out that some of Somi’s airport outfits resembled Rosé’s style, prompting posts like, “She’s never original, omg.”
