Jennie is once again proving her global star power—this time lighting up New York as one of the world’s most influential figures.
On April 23rd (local time), Jennie attended the TIME100 Gala at Frederick P. Rose Hall at Jazz at Lincoln Center, joining a lineup of globally recognized changemakers honored on TIME’s 2026 list of the 100 most influential people.
For the evening, Jennie turned heads in a sleek black dress with striking geometric lines, effortlessly balancing boldness and elegance. With her hair pulled back into a clean, sophisticated style, she delivered a look that underscored her status as a modern pop icon. On the red carpet, she was also seen chatting with Hollywood actress Dakota Johnson, showcasing her ease among international stars.

Jennie was the only K-pop artist to make this year’s TIME100 list. In a tribute, singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams wrote, “she possesses the same kind of undeniable presence that cuts through all the noise,” adding, “has a softness that only emphasizes her strength. I just love her.”
Her influence is also reflected in her music. Jennie recently scored her highest placement yet on the Billboard Hot 100, with “Dracula (Remix),” a collaboration with Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, reaching No. 15. The track has gained renewed momentum as her contributions received wider recognition, marking her first Top 20 entry as a solo artist.
The song is also currently nominated for Favorite Song of the Summer at the American Music Awards, further cementing her presence in the global music scene. With seven total entries on the Hot 100, Jennie continues to set records among K-pop female soloists.
