The dispute between THE BOYZ and One Hundred Label is heating up, with both sides doubling down on opposing claims over payments.

On April 22nd, attorney Kim Moon Hee of Yulchon LLC, representing nine members (excluding New), said the artists have not received “a single payment,” including unpaid earnings from late 2025.

“Despite multiple assurances, including specific payment dates and promises to include late fees, no payments have actually been made,” she said, calling the agency’s public statement that settlements had been “false and deeply regrettable.”

The legal team confirmed the members’ criminal complaint is under investigation and said they are fully cooperating. The case has been transferred to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s Financial Crimes Unit as of the 20th.

In response, One Hundred Label said it already paid all 11 members 1.5 billion KRW each in signing advances—16.5 billion KRW total (about 11.1 million USD)—arguing the amount far exceeds industry norms. The company maintained that any unpaid settlements are minimal compared to those advances, which are to be recouped from future earnings. If contracts are terminated, it added, the remaining balance must be returned.

The agency also said it’s willing to release secured settlement funds immediately—if the members acknowledge the advance and keep their contracts in place.

Nine members previously moved to terminate their contracts, citing unpaid earnings and management failures, and have filed for an injunction while also lodging a criminal complaint against CEO Cha Ga Won on embezzlement charges.

In a separate but related dispute, the court sided with Nomus over streaming rights tied to THE BOYZ’s concerts. The Seoul Central District Court granted Nomus’s injunction against One Hundred Label, ruling that the company still holds exclusive online broadcasting rights. As a result, One Hundred Label cannot authorize third-party streaming—and would face a penalty of 50 million KRW per violation.
