IU and Byeon Woo Seok are making a joint variety appearance.
The two stars are set to appear on the YouTube show “Salon Drip,” with the episode scheduled to be released in April.
Their appearance comes as anticipation builds for their upcoming MBC drama Perfect Crown, where they star opposite each other. The joint guest spot is expected to serve as part of the show’s promotions.
The drama recently dropped a teaser centered on IU’s character, Sung Hee Joo—a commoner who marries into royalty through her relationship with Prince Yian, played by Byeon Woo Seok. As she navigates her new status, she faces pushback from those around her and works to secure political approval by persuading the prime minister, a former school senior.
Meanwhile, her initially cold relationship with Yian begins to shift, raising questions about whether she can truly win his heart.
Perfect Crown premieres on April 10th at 9:40 PM KST.
