Namkoong Min is confirmed to star in upcoming KBS drama The Completion of Marriage (literal translation). The drama is set to air next year, according to reports on May 13th.
The drama tells the gripping story of a man who fights against a ruthless criminal to rescue his wife, who is kidnapped just before their divorce. Namkoong Min stars as Kang Tae Ju, a former neurosurgeon turned hospital director, who reflects on his relationship with his wife while fighting to rescue her.
The actor has established himself as a powerhouse in Korean entertainment. He debuted in 2001 with the film Bungee Jumping of Their Own and rose to prominence with hit dramas like Good Manager and Falsify in 2017. Since then, he’s maintained steady popularity through standout roles in Stove League, The Veil, One Dollar Lawyer and My Dearest.
Namkoong Min will return to TV in June with the new SBS drama Our Movie before The Completion of Marriage.
