Kim Woo Bin and Shin Mina shared a sweet newlywed moment at an awards show.
The couple attended the fifth Blue Dragon Series Awards at Paradise City in Incheon on July 31. Shin was there ahead of the release of Disney Plus’s The Remarried Empress, while Kim was nominated for best actor for Netflix’s Genie, Make a Wish.
It marked one of their first major public appearances together since tying the knot, naturally drawing attention from fans.
Kim’s close friend Lee Kwang Soo was the first to stir things up.
When Shin took the stage to present an award, Lee cupped his hands around his mouth and loudly cheered from the audience. Kim tried to rein him in but could not hide his smile, while host Jun Hyun Moo joked, “Rein yourself back,” drawing laughter from the crowd.
Shin immediately reacted to Lee’s playful support. Smiling brightly, she lifted her cue cards to cover her mouth and briefly hid behind them.
The teasing continued when Jun pointed out that someone in the audience was “staring very intently” at Shin, prompting the camera to cut to Kim.
Looking slightly embarrassed, Kim touched his nose but kept his eyes fixed on the stage. Unlike Lee’s loud cheering, he quietly applauded his wife with a warm smile.
Shin once again broke into a grin and hid her face behind her cue cards.
The couple did not exchange any overt displays of affection, but their matching smiles and shy reactions made their newlywed chemistry clear.
