Byeon Woo Seok didn’t hesitate when Lee Hyori asked him about his love life in an unaired Jae-seok’s B&B Rules! clip.
The bonus footage, released on Netflix Korea’s official YouTube channel on June 7th, showed the cast preparing dinner together. Guests Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon joined Yu Jae Seok, Lee Kwang Soo, Byeon Woo Seok and Ji Ye Eun for a candid conversation about dating and relationships.
Lee Hyori kicked things off by asking Byeon Woo Seok whether he was currently seeing anyone. He answered, “I don’t have one.”
When Ji Ye Eun jokingly suggested that he would probably say that even if he did have a girlfriend, Byeon Woo Seok doubled down on his answer, saying, “I genuinely don’t have one.”
Meanwhile, Lee Kwang Soo, who was standing nearby, playfully chimed in, “I’m seeing someone,” referring to his longtime relationship with actress Lee Sun Bin. However, Lee Hyori didn’t hear him, creating an awkwardly funny moment.
Noticing the situation, Lee Sang Soon stepped in and said, “Why aren’t you asking Kwang Soo? Hyori, ask Kwang Soo too.”
Only then did Lee Hyori realize what she had missed and replied, “Kwang Soo has Sun Bin, doesn’t he?” drawing laughter from the group.
Lee Kwang Soo and Lee Sun Bin first met on SBS’s Running Man in 2016 and publicly confirmed their relationship in 2018. Since then, the couple has occasionally shared stories about each other during interviews and television appearances.
Lee Hyori later turned the conversation back to Lee Kwang Soo and asked about Lee Sun Bin. Mentioning the drama Work Later, Drink Now, she said, “Does Sun Bin really drink that well? I love that drama.” To her surprise, Lee Kwang Soo revealed that his girlfriend actually can’t drink much.
He went on to share another story, saying that after Lee Hyori once mentioned during an awards ceremony that she enjoyed Lee Sun Bin’s work, Lee Sun Bin talked about it almost every day for one to two weeks, showing just how much she admired the singer.
Smiling, Lee Hyori responded, “Sun Bin has a great personality. She’s cute and pretty, too. Kwang Soo is really lucky.”
She then added, “Sun Bin is lucky too. I’ve heard so many good things about how kind Kwang Soo is,” creating a warm atmosphere among the cast.
The conversation wasn’t the only topic that caught viewers’ attention. The cast also discussed the possibility of returning for a second season of Jae-seok’s B&B Rules!. Lee Kwang Soo said he would gladly come back if the original cast reunited, and Ji Ye Eun agreed.
Byeon Woo Seok shared the same sentiment but jokingly suggested one change. “I’d do it with the same members,” he said. “Maybe we can add one person who’s actually good at cooking.” His comment drew laughter from the group.
Lee Kwang Soo agreed, noting that many chefs are television personalities these days. Yu Jae Seok, however, pointed out that part of the show’s charm comes from watching people navigate situations they’re not familiar with. Ji Ye Eun argued that the cast’s cooking skills had improved over time, while Byeon Woo Seok added that he is genuinely interested in learning how to cook more seriously in the future.
