Disney Plus’s original series A Shop for Killers Season 2 is officially set to premiere this July, with a new Re-Opening poster and trailer teasing the birth of a new owner of the shop and an even bigger story ahead.
After creating a sensation with its stylish action and fast-paced storytelling, A Shop for Killers earned international recognition, including a spot on The New York Times’ Best TV Shows of 2024 as one of the year’s best international series, as well as a place in TIME’s Top 4 K-Dramas of 2024.
A Shop for Killers Season 2 follows Ji An (played by Kim Hye Jun) after she survives a brutal handover and becomes the new head of the shopping mall. Together with Jin Man (Lee Dong Wook), who returns alive, she launches a full-scale counterattack against Babylon’s global forces in the stylish action series.
The newly released Re-Opening poster makes an immediate impact, signaling a much bigger world with its bold imagery and intense mood. Unlike last season, when everything remained shrouded in mystery, the true identity of “Murthehelp” is now fully revealed. The tagline, “The shopping mall opens its doors again,” paired with Jin Man and Ji An standing together before the armory, hints that the two will be fighting side by side this season.

The trailer released alongside the poster brings back the faces who powered Season 1’s global success, while introducing new enemies and even more hard-hitting action. Jin Man’s line, “This is my world, Jeong Ji An,” lands especially hard, teasing Ji An’s transformation as she steps fully into the killers’ world as Murthehelp’s new owner.
The stakes are even higher this season, with Jin Man and Bale’s long-running bad blood reigniting and mercenaries from Babylon’s East Asia branch entering the fight. While Season 1 followed Ji An’s fight to survive killers trying to take over the shop, Season 2 shifts into counterattack mode as Ji An and Jin Man fight to protect their world.
The new season will once again be directed by Lee Kwon, who led the first season with its tightly crafted execution. Lee Dong Wook returns as Jin Man, alongside Kim Hye Jun as Ji An, the once-ordinary niece now at the center of the killers’ world. Jo Han Sun is also back as Bale, the brutal villain once known as a killing machine.
Fan-favorite allies Min Hye, Pasin and Brother, played by Geum Hannah, Kim Min and Lee Tae Young, also return, while Jung Yun Ha, Hyunri and Masaki Okada join as new forces from Babylon’s East Asia branch, adding even more tension to the highly anticipated season.
