Netflix has officially greenlit its new series The Facade of Love, unveiling a star-studded lineup led by Lee Dong Wook, Jeon So Nee, Jung Yu Mi and Lee Jong Won.
The drama follows two people who share an unforgettable night while traveling abroad—a moment that ends up unraveling the lives of four individuals. What begins as a fleeting encounter turns into an uncontrollable pull, shaking what once seemed like stable, ordinary lives.
At the center is Ji Hoon, played by Lee Dong Wook, a man caught between reason and desire. Opposite him is Hu Kyung, portrayed by Jeon So Nee, a mysterious woman whose presence disrupts everything around her. As their connection deepens, the consequences ripple outward.

Jung Yu Mi takes on the role of Sun Hee, Ji Hoon’s wife, who is forced to confront an unsettling truth that upends her world. Meanwhile, Lee Jong Won plays Dae Hee, Sun Hee’s younger brother, who becomes entangled in an unexpected relationship of his own with Hu Kyung—adding another layer of tension to the story.
The series will be directed by The World of the Married helmer Mo Wan Il, known for his sharp, character-driven storytelling, and penned by The Matchmakers writer Ha Soo Jin, whose work is praised for its grounded emotional depth.
With its mix of intense emotions, tangled relationships and a cast known for nuanced performances, The Facade of Love is shaping up to be a gripping addition to Netflix’s lineup.
