IU and Byeon Woo Seok are giving fans a peek behind the scenes of their much-talked-about kiss scene.
On April 7th, the YouTube channel TEO released a preview featuring the Perfect Crown cast, including IU, Byeon Woo Seok, Gong Seung Yeon and Noh Sang Hyun.
When asked about their “wall kiss scene,” Byeon Woo Seok recalled the unexpected details. “When you kiss, your noses touch, right? Mine brushed her cheek—and since it was hot, it felt kind of damp,” he said. IU added with a laugh, “It even left a nose mark on my cheek.”
Curious, Noh Sang Hyun asked how many takes it took. IU didn’t hesitate: “Countless times.” Byeon Woo Seok agreed, saying, “We really filmed that scene over and over,” drawing laughter from the group.
The cast also teased what’s to come, with IU noting, “As the drama goes on, Sang Hyun gets really sexy,” while Byeon Woo Seok chimed in, “He’s so effortlessly sexy that I even forgot my lines at one point.”
Elsewhere in the clip, IU was surprised to learn that Gong Seung Yeon—whom she thought was the same age—was actually a “fast ’93” (early 1993-born who went to school with ’92s).
Gong Seung Yeon shrugged it off, saying, “Most of my friends are born in ’92 anyway. Age doesn’t really matter.” IU agreed, joking, “I don’t mind if younger people speak casually to me—as long as they’re not my actual siblings.”
