
The new tvN drama Siren’s Kiss is off to a strong start, drawing solid ratings in Korea and rising quickly on global streaming charts.
The series premiered on March 2nd and introduced viewers to the intense first meeting between elegant auctioneer Han Seol A (played by Park Min Young), insurance investigator Cha Woo Seok (Wi Ha Jun), and mysterious startup CEO Baek Joon Beom (Kim Jung Hyun).
The premiere episodes recorded a peak rating of 7.2% nationwide and in the Seoul metropolitan area, ranking No. 1 in its time slot across cable and general programming channels, according to Nielsen Korea.
The drama is also gaining traction globally. According to streaming analytics site FlixPatrol, Siren’s Kiss climbed into the global daily Top 8 in the TV show category on Amazon Prime Video as of March 4th.
The series reached No. 1 in five countries including Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. It also entered the Top 10 in 17 countries and regions such as Brazil, Mexico and Greece.

Online reactions have been overwhelmingly positive since the premiere. Viewers have shared comments such as “The production really nailed everything,” “It’s been a while since we had a drama this fun,” “The ending scene is incredible,” and “The cast chemistry is fantastic.”
Interest in the drama is also reflected in industry buzz rankings. According to Good Data Corporation’s FUNdex chart, which tracks online buzz for TV shows, Siren’s Kiss ranked No. 8 as of March 3rd.
With strong performances from the cast, fast-paced storytelling, stylish direction and a polished soundtrack, Siren’s Kiss is quickly emerging as a standout romance thriller.
