Park Min Young and Wi Ha Jun are turning up the tension in their latest Siren’s Kiss photo shoot.
On February 25th, Allure Korea unveiled a striking spread featuring the two stars, who lead the upcoming tvN drama Siren’s Kiss, capturing the push-and-pull dynamic of their characters Han Seol A and Cha Woo Seok. The series follows a captivating woman suspected of insurance fraud and the man who begins to investigate the suspicious deaths surrounding her.
In the interview that followed the shoot, both actors shared what pulled them into the project and how deeply they immersed themselves in their roles.

For Park Min Young, it was the challenge of portraying someone she had never played before. “Personally, I was drawn to the fact that this was a character I had never experienced before,” she said. “I don’t think I’ve ever done a project where I never smile. Seol A is someone who locks herself in a glass box and chooses to be completely alone. Watching this dry, worn-down person slowly change after meeting Woo Seok is really fascinating.”
Wi Ha Jun said he was immediately hooked by the script. “I was given the first four episodes, and I kept thinking, ‘What is this? What happens next?'” he recalled. “I read ‘Siren’s Kiss’ in one sitting. That almost never happens for me.”

Both stars said they threw themselves into building layered, emotionally dense characters. Park Min Young focused on expressing subtle shifts through her eyes, even referencing Keigo Higashino’s novel ‘Journey Under the Midnight Sun’ before filming her most emotional scenes. “For the deeper moments, I would read the book right before we rolled,” she said.
Wi Ha Jun spoke warmly about working with his co-star. “She’s such a veteran, and I learned a lot from her,” he said. “Because there’s tension between the characters, it took some time for us to get close. But once we did, I got so much energy from her bright personality. Toward the end, it was the first time I thought, ‘I want to work with this team again just as we are.’ I’ve never felt this much love on set.”
Siren’s Kiss premieres March 2nd at 8:50 PM KST on tvN.
