Park Eun Bin is publicly cheering on Cha Eun Woo as he completes his mandatory military service.

The actress spoke at Netflix’s “Next on Netflix 2026 Korea” showcase on January 21st, where the streamer unveiled its upcoming 2026 slate. The event gathered top stars including Jeon Do Yeon of Possible Love, Nam Joo Hyuk of The East Palace, Son Ye Jin of The Scandal, Park Eun Bin of The WONDERfools, and chef Ahn Sung Jae of Culinary Class Wars.

Introducing The WONDERfools, Park Eun Bin said, “The story is set in 1999, when doomsday theories were everywhere. A group of ordinary misfits gain superpowers after an unexpected incident and end up facing a villain threatening their town. It’s a superpower comedy action adventure.”

She described her character Eun Chae Ni as “a lovable disaster.” “She’s reckless, playful, and full of energy. The story is unpredictable in a way that creates a really satisfying kind of fun. She’s cute, she’s chaotic, and I hope viewers stay curious about what kind of power she has.”

The series also marks Park’s second collaboration with director Yoo In Shik following Extraordinary Attorney Woo. “We reunited very quickly,” she noted. “We already understood each other so well, even from the planning stage. The chemistry was effortless, and working together was pure enjoyment.”

While the physical demands were intense, Park said the experience was worth it. “It was tough on my body, but mentally I had so much fun. I wanted to show a more evolved side of myself, and I think we’ve made something genuinely entertaining.”

Park Eun Bin then turned her attention to Cha Eun Woo, her co-star who is currently enlisted. “This was my first time working with him, and I truly felt there couldn’t have been a better casting choice,” she said. “He gave everything to the project before leaving to fulfill his duty. Wherever he is, I’m sure he’s doing well.”

She added, “It would’ve been great to promote the show together, but I’ll do my best to cover his part too. I hope he returns safely and proudly.”
