Annie of co-ed K-pop group ALLDAY PROJECT is heading back to campus.
According to industry sources on the 14th, Annie will resume her studies at Columbia University for the spring 2026 semester, which begins around the 20th. She plans to remain in the U.S. and focus fully on academics through the end of the term in May.
Annie is majoring in art history and visual arts. Despite the semester starting soon, she is currently wrapping up a packed slate of advertising and photoshoot commitments, marking her final activities before a brief hiatus. She is expected to depart for the U.S. shortly after completing her remaining schedules.
Annie’s path to Columbia University has long drawn attention. As the eldest daughter of Shinsegae Group chairwoman Chung Yoo Kyung, she is widely known to have pursued her studies with intensity in order to gain her family’s approval for an idol debut. Her acceptance to the Ivy League school ultimately paved the way for her entry into K-pop.
With Annie focusing on school, the remaining members—Tarzan, Bailey, Woochan, and Youngseo—will concentrate on music production and individual projects through the first half of the year. Tarzan recently released the music video for his solo track “MEDUSA” on January 12th.
