Nana and her mother are recovering after being attacked by an armed robber during a terrifying home invasion early on November 15th.
Police confirmed that a man in his 30s broke into the star’s luxury villa in Gyeonggi Province with a weapon at 6 AM. Reports indicate that Nana and her mother physically fought the intruder, subdued him and then called the police. When officers arrived, the robber was injured and subsequently transported to the hospital.
The incident has caused a massive buzz, as fans quickly pointed out that Nana holds a certified 4th-degree black belt in the Korean Special Forces martial art. Rumors are also now circulating that her mother is a former professional boxer.
Nana’s agency, SUBLIME, released an official statement confirming the attack.
“The robber created a life-threatening situation for both Nana and her mother when he entered their home carrying a weapon,” the agency stated.
SUBLIME also detailed the severity of the injuries, stating, “Nana’s mother lost consciousness due to the physical assault, and Nana was also injured in the incident. Both are currently receiving medical treatment and need complete rest.”
The agency later confirmed that Nana’s mother has since regained consciousness.
Sublime urged the public to avoid spreading rumors out of respect for the family. “We ask for restraint in making indiscriminate speculations, as the safety of her family is our top priority. The spread of false information and content that infringes on privacy can cause significant harm. Our agency will do everything in its power to support Nana and her family in their full recovery.”
