Suzy and Lee Do Hyun starred in Urban Zakapa’s new music video “Stay”—completely without pay.

The video dropped yesterday, showcasing the pair’s emotional chemistry in the R&B trio’s latest release. Blending elements of pop, R&B, ballad, and modern rock, “Stay” captures the group’s signature soulful sound.

During the album listening event held at Ilji Art Hall in Seoul’s Gangnam district, member Jo Hyun Ah explained how the star-studded collaboration came together. “I wanted the music video to leave a lingering impression—and I knew these two actors could do that,” she said.

She continued, “Suzy is not only an actress who leaves a deep emotional mark, she’s also a close friend of mine. She genuinely wanted to help and agreed to appear with no guarantee. Lee Do Hyun also joined without pay.”

Jo added, “I’ve always thought Lee Do Hyun was one of the most captivating actors working today. The timing worked perfectly right after his military discharge, and it was such an honor to collaborate. And honestly, Suzy and Lee Do Hyun’s visual chemistry was spot-on.”

Reflecting on her casting instincts, Jo recalled, “When I released ‘You’re the Reason,’ I cast Cha Eun Woo and Park Gyu Young for the music video because I thought their visuals matched perfectly. I guess I have an eye for these things,” she joked.

Jo also praised Suzy’s dedication: “Suzy personally monitored every cut and even helped adjust the edits toward the end to make sure it came out beautifully.”

Urban Zakapa released their new EP Stay on November 3rd. The group will kick off their national winter tour on November 22nd.
