Hyeri’s recent fan meeting and behind-the-scenes video are gaining attention, not just for her performances but also for her sweet chemistry with dancer Wootae.
On July 1st, Hyeri’s agency Sublime addressed the dating rumors surrounding the two, saying, “It’s part of her private life, so we can’t confirm anything.” But that statement hasn’t done much to quiet the buzz, especially as old clips of Hyeri and Wootae have started making the rounds online.
The two first met while filming Victory and recently reunited to prepare choreography for Hyeri’s 15th debut anniversary fan meeting. Hyeri herself shared behind-the-scenes footage on June 27th, and just days later, dating rumors began to spark.
In the video, Hyeri is seen rehearsing SHINee Taemin’s “MOVE” and aespa’s “Whiplash” alongside Wootae and other dancers. The two share playful banter throughout, with Wootae teasing, “Your shoulders should feel weird,” and Hyeri laughing, “They do!” Wootae grinned back, “If they do, that means you’re doing it right.”
At one point, when Wootae suggested running through the routine during a break, Hyeri joked, “But you said we were on a break!”.
Later, Hyeri playfully complained, “I don’t think I can do this right now,” to which Wootae reassured her, “It’s fine. You don’t have to get it perfect right away—just know that it’s there.”
Fans are loving their chemistry, flooding the comments with, “They look so cute together,” “Wait, the masked dance teacher was Wootae?” and “They’re adorable!”
