ASTRO member and actor Cha Eun Woo‘s enlistment date is confirmed.
His agency Fantagio posted an official notice on May 29th on the group’s fan café titled, “Information Regarding Cha Eun Woo’s Enlistment.”
Fantagio stated, “Cha Eun Woo recently applied to the Army military band and received his final acceptance notice from the Military Manpower Administration today. He will enlist on July 28th and, after completing basic military training, will serve in the Army’s military band.”
The agency added, “The time and location of Cha Eun Woo’s enlistment will not be disclosed. There will be no official event to prevent safety issues caused by crowding on the day of enlistment. We kindly ask for your warm encouragement and support as Cha Eun Woo faithfully fulfills his duty and returns in good health.”
Back on April 9th, news broke that Cha Eun Woo had applied for the military band. A Fantagio representative confirmed, “Cha Eun Woo applied for the Army military band and attended an interview. The results have not been announced yet, and we are currently waiting.”
Now, Cha Eun Woo has been officially accepted after a long wait. He becomes the second member of ASTRO to fulfill his mandatory military duty.
