Lee Do Hyun shared exciting post-military plans with fans on May 14th, just a day after completing his mandatory service.
Taking to his personal account, the actor reflected on his time in the military, writing, “Hello everyone, it’s Lee Do Hyun! It’s been a year and nine months—three years if you count by calendar years. It felt long at times and short at others, but for me, it definitely wasn’t short. Now that it’s over, it feels like time flew by. I’m a bit wistful, but I have no regrets.”
He also expressed deep gratitude to those who supported him throughout his service: “Thanks to my fans who have shown me so much love and support, and to the fellow members and officers of the Air Force Military Band, I’ve been able to leave with nothing but happy memories and a grateful heart. Thank you so much.”

Looking ahead, Lee revealed plans to reconnect with fans. “I’m preparing a special event where I can talk directly with you and share stories we haven’t been able to exchange for a while. I’m working hard to show you many different sides of myself. I’d be so grateful if you could join me and let me return even a little of the love you’ve given me.”
He wrapped up his message on an emotional note, saying, “I’m filled with both excitement and a bit of fear about what’s ahead, but I promise to return as a better person—with great projects and strong performances. I’ll see you at the event! Once again, thank you so, so much, and I love you all.” He also shared a photo alongside the message.
