Han So Hee is in talks to star in the Korean remake of The Intern.
A representative from her agency, 9ato Entertainment, told Ilgan Sports on May 9 that The Intern is one of the projects she’s currently considering.
The original The Intern, released in 2015 and directed by Nancy Meyers, tells the story of Jules Ostin (Anne Hathaway), a successful CEO in her 30s who hires 70-year-old widower Ben Whittaker (Robert De Niro) as a senior intern at her fast-growing online fashion company.
Han So Hee has been offered the role of Jules Austin, the female CEO originally portrayed by Anne Hathaway.
Choi Min Sik was previously rumored to take on the role originally played by Robert De Niro, generating significant buzz.
Meanwhile, Han So Hee is also gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Project Y.
