Kim Soo Hyun is currently embroiled in controversy over allegations that he dated the late Kim Sae Ron when she was a minor. Amid this, the late Sulli’s older brother has raised new suspicions related to Kim Soo Hyun’s film Real. This time, he mentioned singer IU.
On April 2nd, Sulli’s brother named several celebrities, including IU, Sulli, Goo Hara, Kim Sae Ron, Han Ji Eun, Suzy, and Ahn So Hee, in his new post. He previously sparked controversy by revealing personal details about the late Sulli, including claims about her past relationship with P.O.

Facing backlash, Sulli’s brother later revised his post, stating, “IU and Kim Soo Hyun were close. IU was originally offered the female lead role in Real, but the script was dumped on Sulli after she declined.” He also claimed that Sulli, Goo Hara and Kim Sae Ron all received treatment from the same psychiatrist, whom they were introduced to through IU.
Sulli’s brother also alleged that a body double was present during the filming of Real and explicit scenes were listed in the storyboard, but the final edited version was different from what was originally planned. He claimed that Sulli went through extreme physical and mental distress during this period.
He further stated, “Sulli’s nude and bed scenes were not detailed in the script, and a body double was available on set. However, she ended up filming the scenes herself.” He called on Kim Soo Hyun and Real’s producer, Lee Love, to release an official statement on the matter.
Real was co-produced by Kim Soo Hyun and Gold Medalist’s co-founder, Lee Sa Rang (now known as Lee Love). At the time, Sulli’s explicit scenes drew significant attention and were at the center of controversy.
IU only made a cameo appearance in the film. Similarly, Suzy and Ahn So Hee also had minor roles and were not main cast members. When asked for a response, IU’s agency stated, “We have no official position on this matter.”
