According to reports on March 12th, the Instagram fan account “kimsoohyuniee” posted a story with a black background and the message: “To the actor I once admired, goodbye.” The account, which has 463,000 followers, is reportedly the largest among individual international fan accounts dedicated to Kim Soo Hyun.
On March 13th, the fan cafe “Eucharis”, Kim Soo Hyun’s first official fan club with approximately 29,000 members, made all posts private and effectively suspended its activities. However, the administrators explained that the closure is temporary to prevent cyberbullying among members.
Kim Soo Hyun’s Instagram is also being flooded with angry comments from international fans, with messages such as “It was your fault,” “UNFOLLOWED YOU,” and “Take responsibility for your actions.” Some have even used vomiting and middle finger emojis to express their anger.
