According to Nielsen Korea, episode 10 of tvN’s weekend drama When the Stars Gossip recorded a 2.7% viewership rating nationwide for its February 2nd broadcast.
The episode featured a dramatic press conference following the highly anticipated Earth landing of Gong Ryong (Lee Min Ho), Eve Kim (Gong Hyo Jin), and the crew. While Park Dong Ah (Kim Ju Hun) publicly revealed his romantic relationship with Eve Kim, Gong Ryong attempted to bid farewell to Choi Go Eun (Han Ji Eun), who had been waiting for him, expressing his remorse.
Unaware of Gong Ryong’s intentions, Eve Kim found herself unable to dismiss Park Dong Ah’s devotion after he risked his life to save her. Meanwhile, Gong Ryong grappled with his own inadequacy as Eve Kim’s potential partner, haunted by the realization that he could be the cause of her death, unlike Park Dong Ah who saved her life.
In a pivotal moment during their first private date on Earth, Eve Kim stunned Gong Ryong by suggesting, “Let’s pretend none of it happened.” As Gong Ryong attempted to reconnect with Eve Kim, who was dismissing their shared moments as mere dreams, she delivered the final blow, stating firmly, “I’m over with you, Guest.”
