On the 30th, Dazed Korea unveiled its October issue featuring a photoshoot with Jung So Min. In contrast to her character Bae Seok Ryu in tvN’s Love Next Door, Jung effortlessly pulled off a chic and dreamy vibe in a variety of stylish looks.
In the accompanying interview, Jung So Min shared her thoughts on Love Next Door, explaining why the story resonated with her. “It’s a story about a young person navigating life in this era, something anyone our age can relate to. It naturally drew me in because it’s a story about people my age. But it’s not just about us—it intertwines with the experiences of previous generations that we’ve closely observed.”

When asked if she prefers happy endings, Jung answered, “I’m open to them. Of course, I’d love my life’s ending to be a happy one. But when it comes to projects, I just accept the ending as it is. Honestly, I’m not sure if the ending is all that important. For me, the beginning, middle, and end are all equally significant.”
She continued, “In stories, the ending is rarely the complete end. This job is about filling in the beginning, the end, and everything in between. So, when I watch other projects, I often imagine characters’ lives before and after the story. There are things I would’ve never known if I hadn’t been an actor.”
