Suzy dished on her amazing on-screen chemistry with her Wonderland co-star Park Bo Gum.

In the film Wonderland, Suzy takes on the role of Jung In, a woman who uses a mysterious “Wonderland” service to restore her comatose boyfriend Tae Joo (played by Park Bo Gum).

“We got so close filming this movie,” Suzy laughed, revealing that the crew even teased them for how well they got along. “We had to act out scenes from our characters’ younger days, so there was a lot of playful banter and teasing. It naturally brought us closer. We even kept the fun going in between takes, dancing and messing around with props. I have so many fond memories from that set.”

Suzy also touched on her experience working with Park Bo Gum outside of Wonderland.

“Working with him at the Baeksang Arts Awards as co-MC felt more like being with a reliable colleague,” she said. “But then, when we actually acted together, his eyes really struck me. They’re incredible, and he’s a fantastic performer. As a person, he’s always considerate of others and has this remarkable inner strength. He was definitely a source of support for me. His positive energy was contagious.”

Suzy also fondly remembered their guest appearance on The Seasons : Zico’s ARTIST.

“Park Bo Gum actually invited me to a musical he was in,” she shared. “He’s so talented. I was blown away by the show.” Regarding The Seasons appearance, she described, “We had almost no preparation time for our performance. We were both swamped with filming, so it was a whirlwind collaboration. We barely had any rehearsal.”

Finally, Suzy reacted to actress Tang Wei’s playful comment about them potentially dating in real life. She burst into laughter and said, “I actually read the interview. I think it’s great that people say we look good together.”

  • Correction — they were guest in “The Seasons: Artist with ZICO”, not Lee Hyori’s Red Carpet. Her time of hosting ended at the end of March already.
